Oral History Archive: An oral history project that records and preserves the stories of Algiers' residents and adding to the legacy of Algiers: The Untold Story and Algiers: The Untold Story of a New Orleans Treasure. These personal accounts provide invaluable insights into the neighborhood's past and will be featured in audible books as a way to breathe new life into Algiers: The Untold Story and Algiers: The Untold Story of a New Orleans Treasure.
Historic Preservation Fund: Administrating a fund to support the preservation of historic buildings and landmarks in Algiers. This will involve restoration projects and educational programs about the importance of preserving historical sites. The historic preservation projects will also establish facilities to promote economic development by creating business incubators for women and minority-owned enterprises.
